PDPA Notice

This notice is issued under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). It explains how O2O Ecommerce Sdn Bhd ("RenoKaki", "we") processes the personal data you provide through renokaki.my.

1. Data we collect

  • Homeowners: name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), property area, condition, size, budget, renovation scope, style, start date and any notes you provide.
  • Partner firms: company name, SSM registration number, contact person, WhatsApp, email, website and portfolio links, areas served and company description.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, referring URL and campaign parameters (UTM), and usage data collected by analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel.

2. Source

You provide the data directly through forms on this website or via WhatsApp.

3. Purposes

  • Matching you with suitable interior design / renovation firms and introducing them via WhatsApp;
  • Verifying your identity and request (e.g. WhatsApp confirmation);
  • Contacting you about your case and following up on matches;
  • Improving our website and service, analytics and preventing abuse.

4. Disclosure

A homeowner's brief and contact details are shared only with the firms matched to that case (no more than 3) and only for contacting and quoting for that case. Partner firms agree not to resell, transfer or use the data for other marketing. We may also use service providers (hosting, email, analytics) or disclose data where required by law.

5. Obligatory and optional data

Your name, WhatsApp number and basic renovation details are required for matching; without them we cannot match you. Email and notes are optional.

6. Your rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or withdraw consent and ask us to stop processing it (after which we can no longer match you). Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +60 12-485 8218. We will respond within the period required by law.

7. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it.

8. Language

This notice is available in English and Chinese. If there is any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
