Getting started
Is RenoKaki a design or renovation company?
No. RenoKaki is a matching service. We do not design or carry out renovation work ourselves; we introduce you to partner firms that suit your home, area and budget.
How do I start?
Answer about 10 short questions on property, area, size, budget and timing, then confirm on WhatsApp. It takes about a minute.
Is it free?
Yes. Homeowners pay nothing and are under no obligation to sign. Our revenue comes from partner firms.
Why WhatsApp?
Most homeowners in Malaysia already use WhatsApp. Confirming there shows us you are a real person, so partner firms get genuine enquiries and you get faster replies.
Do I need floor plans or drawings first?
No. A rough idea of your property, budget and timing is enough. Firms will measure and advise on site.
Matching & contact
How many firms will contact me?
At most 3 per case. We would rather introduce fewer firms that fit than flood you with calls.
How soon will I hear back?
Once you confirm on WhatsApp, we usually match and introduce firms within 1–2 working days.
What if no suitable firm is available?
We will tell you honestly on WhatsApp instead of sending you firms that do not fit, and we will let you know if one becomes available.
Can I choose a specific firm?
Yes. Tap "Ask this firm to contact me" on any partner page. We will ask that firm first and may introduce 1–2 more for comparison.
Do I have to sign with a firm you introduce?
No. Meet them, compare proposals and quotes, and decide for yourself.
Is RenoKaki involved in quotations, contracts or works?
No. Quotations, contracts, payment, works and warranty are agreed directly between you and the firm. If something goes wrong we can help clarify, but we are not a party to the contract.
Fees & data
Who receives my details?
Only the firms matched to your case (up to 3), and only to contact you and quote for this renovation. We never sell your details.
Are partner firms screened?
Partners provide their SSM registration and past work before they are approved. We also track how they follow up with homeowners.
How accurate is the budget estimate?
It is a rough range based on typical market rates in KL and Selangor, for early planning only. Actual costs depend on materials, demolition and site conditions.
Can I ask you to delete my data?
Yes. WhatsApp or email us and we will remove your details, as described in our PDPA Notice.
